Edie Apostal has been active in Chicago real estate sales, management and development since 1974. In 1993 she moved her business to a large international residential brokerage. She has successfully completed advanced studies in real estate practice earning the designations of GRI from the Graduate Realtor Institute and CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, along with membership in the National Residential Sales Council. In addition to being an active member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Edie is also a member of state and national REALTOR® associations. Throughout her career, Edie has been recognized annually as a top producer, winning more than 50 awards from employers and her peers in the industry.
A lifelong resident of the Chicago metropolitan area and a graduate of Northwestern University, Edie brings to her position of Broker Associate her expertise as a high school history teacher, an extensive knowledge of the evolution of Chicago’s neighborhoods, and her personal experiences as a homeowner, real estate investor and rehabber. Her community commitments consist of volunteer service in local schools including founding the Friends of Lincoln Elementary School, multiple neighborhood associations and memberships in organizations such as the Lincoln Park Conservancy and the Lincoln Park Zoological Society. These experiences, along with years of success in all types of market environments and her warm, personal approach to working with clients and neighbors make Edie uniquely qualified to guide both sellers and buyers with their individual journeys through homeownership.
