Since he entered the business in 2001, Niko Apostal has established himself as one of the top residential Realtors in Chicago and a leader in the residential brokerage community. His primary focus is his sales practice, The Apostal Group, where he runs a high-level brokerage team catering to clients and their families seeking a high-touch level of service navigating their housing and investment needs throughout their full life-cycle. He is also a founder of the brand-new Keller Williams Chicago-Lincoln Park office which he helped launch last year and co-owner of Owl Management, offering leasing and rental property management services.
In February 2016, Niko was a featured broker in an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters Renovation. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Realtors Association and has recently served on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Association of Realtors where he co-founded the local chapter of the Young Professional Network and served-on or chaired multiple committees.
A lifelong resident of Chicago’s north side, Niko comes from a family that has been active in real estate investment, management, development and sales for more than 40 years. Niko also has extensive leadership training, including past experience teaching agents in Coldwell Banker’s New Agent Development Program and currently chairs the office culture committee while serving as a member of his local Keller Williams Agent Leadership Council. Over the past decade, Niko and The Apostal Group have earned a reputation for excellence in expertise as well as caring and personal attention, earning him recognition among the top 1% of Realtors in the city along with multiple awards and designations.
Niko attended public school at Abraham Lincoln Elementary, received his high school diploma from Francis W. Parker School, then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston University. Before turning his full attention to real estate, he worked as a program coordinator and fundraiser for an international non-profit organization in New York City. He is an active member of the Lincoln Park Zoo’s Auxiliary Board and is involved with multiple local charity and civic organizations. When he’s not working Niko loves cooking, theatre, skiing, history and travel.
He remains an avid learner, ever improving his skills and proficiency in the trade, and a passionate teacher, constantly encouraging an honest, ethical and dedicated approach to facilitating the needs of individual home buyers and sellers.
