Lots of real estate news in Bucktown this week, including the neighborhood’s new priciest listing. A cool $3.499M will nab you this 7,000-square-foot, 5-bed mansion at Dickens and Hoyne. The property, which is situated on an extra-large lot, boasts an outdoor fireplace and deck, large rooms and luxury finishes. Still, it would set a new precedent for luxury prices in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, at Milwaukee and Western, developers are rushing to get plans approved for a Brininstool + Lynch-designed, transit-oriented development to anchor the corner lot.
This is in addition to several new developments along Milwaukee Avenue proposed or begun in the past year, including several new apartment buildings, row houses, retail developments and a new Northwestern Medical Center.
All of this indicates that Bucktown will continue to be a hot market for real estate in the years to come. Interested in learning more about buying or selling in this neighborhood? We have several members of our team who have their finger on the pulse of Bucktown. We’d love to chat. Contact us!
